Due to our high activity levels in all our core sectors: Metals & Minerals, Renewables, Shipping & Offshore Energy, Clarksons Platou Securities AS is looking to hire further professionals to join the investment banking team located in Oslo.
The successful applicant has a proven track record in equity sales or equity research. You have a university or college degree with strong curricular performance and minimum two years’ experience from equity sales, preferably towards high net worth clients. You have strong analytical skills and a solid knowledge of our core industries.
You will be working as part of our equity sales team; however, you will be expected to generate and/or develop your own international client portfolio and be capable of working independently. We require that you have exceptional communication skills and that you are fluent in Norwegian and English (both oral and written). You should also have a high degree of working capacity and be able to cope with stressful working days and a high working pace. All positions also require that you are flexible, accurate and have a high degree of responsibility.
