Due to our high activity levels in all our core sectors: Metals & Minerals, Renewables, Shipping & Offshore Energy, Clarksons Platou Securities AS is looking to hire further professionals to join its research team located in Oslo.
We are seeking candidates with an excellent academic record with an interest in finance, the securities market and Clarksons Platou Securities’ core sectors. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, be highly motivated, structured, and possess considerable working capacity. Strong communication skills are a requirement, and candidates must be fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral. The candidates can expect to be offered varied and challenging tasks, including building financial models, perform valuations, prepare presentations and other ad hoc work.
Equity Research Associate - Specialty Materials & Energy Storage
Electric Vehicles (and their batteries) do not appear out of thin air. As an associate within specialty materials and energy storage you will be part of, among other things, EU’s effort to dominate the EV batteries industry – following the journey from raw materials to anodes. The ideal candidate has one to five years of relevant work experience, desirably from an equity research or credit research position. Candidates with a relevant university degree and strong credentials from consulting, management consulting and asset management backgrounds may be considered.
Equity Research Associate - Renewables
The world is not black or green – it’s both! As an associate within renewables you will be part of, among other things, the global energy transition, offshore wind and carbon capture. The ideal candidate has a relevant university degree, preferably a Master’s degree within finance, economics or accounting, and up to three years of relevant work experience.
