On behalf of VOW ASA, we are searching for an operational and driven Group Accounting Manager to join their Group Finance team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of the Group’s financial statements and related reports, as well as driving continuous improvement of financial processes, routines and systems. The role reports to the CFO and may be based in either Oslo or Tønsberg.

Main responsibilities:

  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in the Group, including consolidation and reporting to the Oslo Stock Exchange
  • Board of Directors and Management reporting
  • Manage technical accounting and tax-related matters in the Group
  • Follow-up of reporting from subsidiaries, together with the rest of the Finance team
  • Drive improvement in the Group’s financial and accounting processes and routines, including the ERP system Dynamics 365 and implementation of a consolidation system
  • Contact point towards external audit


Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance or similar
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience from similar role within finance/accounting department and/or audit firm
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and reporting requirements for stock listed companies
  • Hands-on expertise in financial consolidation processes and tools
  • Strong understanding of financial systems in general, and ideally with experience in Dynamics 365
  • Experience from working in international project-oriented business environments is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian
