Green Transition Analyst - Clarksons Norway AS

Join our Green Transition team to influence the shipping industry during one of its most pivotal periods. As a Green Transition Analyst, you will play a crucial role in influencing major investment decisions and supporting our clients in navigating the complex but exciting shift toward decarbonization. Established in 2021, our team provides comprehensive advisory and business development services within the Shipbroking vertical, specializing in the commercial implications of shipping decarbonization and the broader energy transition.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a driven individual with a technical background and 0-5 years of experience, ideally from shipping, energy or related industries. Students graduating the summer of 2025 are welcome to apply.

A commercial mindset is key, with very strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges in the energy and maritime sectors.

Candidates should be able to present complex matters in a simple way and be capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian are required, and programming proficiency is a strong advantage.

The position will include the following tasks:

  • Conduct analyses and prepare presentations for customers regarding investment decisions and energy transition.
  • Research and stay updated on shipping markets, regulations and entire value chains related to new energy.
  • Improve and enable effective data collection processes.
