Kitron ASA is now looking for a professionally oriented and technically strong individual to join its Group Finance team as its new Group Accounting Manager. The role will have the overall responsibility for group financial consolidation and group statutory financial reporting for Kitron ASA, which covers legal entities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, India, China, Malaysia and the United States.
Our Group Accounting Manager will play an instrumental role in securing compliance with IFRS and be an important sparring partner for the CFO team on a wide range of accounting and finance related topics. The position is located at Kitron ASA’s HQ at Billingstad and reports to the Group Finance Manager in close collaboration with the Group CFO.
Main responsibilities:
- responsible for year-end-, quarterly- and monthly closing process and reporting
- responsible for consolidation of group accounts and other financial information in connection with monthly-, quarterly- and year-end- reporting
- consolidate group accounts and other financial information in forecasts- and budget
- ensure group compliance on relevant IFRS standards as well as training and implementation of new standards across the group
- participate in preparations of reports to Corporate Management Team, Kitron ASA BOD, Risk and Audit Committee and Oslo Stock Exchange
- be a key point of contact towards the company’s external auditor and contribute to internal audit processes
- participate in and lead internal and external projects (ad hoc and regular)
Qualifications:
- higher degree in accounting/auditing (e.g. MRR/CPA) or finance
- minimum 6 years of relevant experience from auditing or operational group accounting, preferably a combination
- strong IFRS competence
- experience with financial consolidation
- proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Norwegian is preferred
