DNV is Norway’s most international company and we are growing. We are tackling the increase and change in both Norwegian and international reporting obligations, and we are strengthening our team with a dedicated Group Accounting and Tax Specialist. You will be part of our Group Finance & Legal team of 70 professionals working closely with other finance and legal colleagues,  interacting with Global Shared Services, Business Areas and other internal stakeholders. We offer development opportunities and the possibility to contribute to enhanced financial and tax reporting through digitalization. The role reports to the Head of Group Accounting, who is part of the Group CFOs leadership team. Our office is located at DNVs headquarter at Høvik, just outside of Oslo.

In this role you will be engaged with: 

  • Contributing to finding practical solutions that meet both business and compliance needs
  • Preparation of Norwegian statutory reporting
  • Consolidation processes both annual and periodically
  • International tax reporting Country-by-Country, GloBE Pillar Two reporting etc.
  • Ensuring effective use of tools and automation opportunities
  • Supporting an efficient external audit process
  • Advising and instructing the Global Shared Services function on accounting and tax matters
  • Providing support on transfer pricing in collaboration with the Group Tax department
  • Supporting and follow up on subsidiary funding and dividend processes
  • Ad hoc analysis and projects 

Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in accounting/finance 
  • Ideally 3 - 6 years' of relevant experience from audit, tax, accounting, consulting or similar
  • General accounting and tax knowledge including corporate tax, IFRS, NGAAP 
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience from use of consolidation systems, Power BI and data analytics is an advantage
  • Fluent in Norwegian (minimum C1 level) and English

  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously, take ownership of projects and drive these to completion
  • Ability to work both in teams and independently
  • Curious to learn, understand and contributing to our world-wide financial and tax reporting and legal entity needs
  • Clear and efficient communication with high professional standards
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple jurisdictions and a range of cultures
