Equity Research Analyst

SEB Equity Research aims to provide the industry-best advisory through in-depth fundamental research on Nordic equities. Our primary external clients are large institutional investors such as pension funds, hedge funds and similar money managers throughout the Nordics, the UK, Europe and US.

We are now looking for a new Analyst to join our team in Oslo. A unique opportunity to develop your own research franchise together with relevant team members and position yourself for a career within Investment Banking.

About the job

As an Equity Analyst you will work with our sector equity research teams to identify investment opportunities, through analysis of various companies and industries. Tasks will include coverage of selected stocks, preparation of presentations, writing research reports, and financial modelling.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for candidates with up to 3 years’ experience. Highly motivated recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. You love to talk stocks and have a combination of strong analytical capabilities and commercial mindset. In addition, we value an outgoing personality, ambition and engagement, high work capacity and a genuine interest in the equity market.

You show commitment to learn and constantly develop your skill set, and you work in a structured way with focus on quality, details, and deadlines. Experience with PowerPoint and financial modelling, including valuation, is expected. Strong communication skills in both English and a Norwegian is a requirement.
