Do you want a key position at the HQ of one of the largest residential real estate companies in Europe? Heimstaden is the second largest European residential real estate manager and investor. Driven by our company values and competent multinational workforce, we acquire, develop and manage properties with an evergreen perspective. We are present in 9 European countries and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
This is a highly visible, challenging, hands-on and commercial role covering activities, including business partnering with country management in different countries to add value and increase profitability. You will also have a strong mandate to lead and influence the development of the group's operational reporting model, systems and processes. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels and departments in the organisation, as well as many international contacts.
Heimstaden has continued strong growth ambitions, and this is a key position to assist in guiding the organisation in the right direction. You will join the Group Controlling team consisting of five highly competent members and will report to the Director of Group Business Controlling.
Core responsibilities:
- Challenge and support country management in a portfolio of countries on core processes, such as monthly business reviews, quarterly forecasts, and yearly budget
- Proactively identify, assess, and support business improvement opportunities
- Develop and monitor KPI’s, including target setting, roll-out and monitoring of overall business performance
- Contributor to the external reporting process
- Contribute to the preparation, development, and quality assurance of operational and financial reporting both at group and country level
- Business partner to country management on all matters linked to financial and operational performance, and be a driving force for positive development of NOI (Net Operating Income) and AFFO (Adjusted Funds from Operations)
- Contribute to standardisation to ensure consistent and reliable business performance measurement across the organisation
- Provide operational and financial insight to the organisation through financial and operational analysis, and benchmarking
- Support relevant C-levels in group management in any aspect related to reporting of their business activities
- Support the implementation of new reporting systems and structures
Qualifications:
- University degree/M Sc in business administration, accounting or similar
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant business controlling/performance management experience, preferably from a group function in an international, stock listed company
- Track record from project management with ability to drive improvement processes, including KPI determination and roll-out
- Strong IT knowledge, and interest in ERP/IT systems and business intelligence tools
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
