Our advanced anode graphite is a key component in the production of lithium-ion batteries and contributes to increased range for electric vehicles, faster charging, long life, and improved safety.

Vianode is looking for a VP Corporate Finance to join their Finance team at Skøyen, Oslo.

Our first industrial plant for the production of anode graphite is under construction in Norway, with start of production scheduled for the second half of 2024. The next phase will involve construction of a large-scale plant, and this is in the planning stage, with production targeted during 2027.

To support our exciting growth phase, we are now hiring for the position of VP Corporate Finance. The role reports to the CFO.

Key responsibilities in the role

• Be a key contributor to the definition and execution of the Company’s strategy for rapid growth
• Play an instrumental role in securing funding from the global capital markets
• Lead ECM/DCM/M&A projects in coordination with domestic and/or international investment banks
• Build strong business relationships with investors, banks and other external stakeholders
• Contribute to the identification, evaluation and execution of strategic growth opportunities
• Prepare financial analysis, projections and other materials as required
• Contribute to developing the technical knowledge of other team members
• Ad hoc projects

Required sualifications

• Master’s degree in finance or other relevant qualification with strong academic results
• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience from investment banking, financial/transaction advisory, management consulting or similar
• Proven track record from ECM, DCM or M&A projects
• Advanced knowledge of investment valuation and excellent financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian is an advantage
• Genuine interest in the “green transition”, battery technology and sustainability

• Self-driven with an ability to work under pressure
• Outstanding analytical skills combined with a strong practical understanding
• Solution-orientated and dedicated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks

Location: This position is based in Oslo (Skøyen).
