More about the hiring company:
Today, around 50 million tons of side streams from seafood processing are undervalued or discarded. Seagems has taken a strong position providing seafood ingredients as flavour and nutrition to the global food industry, based on solving this global challenge.  Seagems’ mission is to ensure that the benefits of seafood can be experienced by all, today and in future generations to come. With innovative up-cycling processes, local sourcing and production, we can make the most of our shared resources anywhere in the world. Fresh raw materials taste better, as powders made minutes after capture on board the fishing vessel. Drying at early stage in processing means no transport of frozen water, lowering transportation by up to 80 %.

Last year, you could find our ingredients as key ingredients to trusted brands in billions of meals across the world. We believe in providing the global food industry with natural seafood ingredients in the most sustainable way possible.

The Seagems Group, established in 2018, is pioneering a whole industry by combining long experience and knowledge with innovation, research and development. As part of the Seagems team, you will be exploring new ways to utilise side streams in the seafood industry and benefit the global food market. You can trust us to ensure a healthy work environment no matter who you are and where you’re from. At Seagems, we aim for you to thrive and never stop exploring the opportunities ahead. Seagems’ efforts for a healthy and inclusive work environment are an integrated part of our work with ESG.

Seagems’ head office, innovation lab and manufacturing are in Aalesund, Norway. Seagems is also located in Copenhagen and Bangkok.

Seagems is run by a dedicated team of 30 colleagues with passion for food, innovation and sustainability, backed by strategic and experienced owners from the seafood industry
