Our customer is a leading provider of solutions and data to the financial industry across Europe. They are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager FP&A with a strong business acumen.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to thrive in an international fast-paced environment, preferably with experience from B2B SaaS solutions. The Senior Manager FP&A will work closely with management and other members of the finance Finance teams to provide critical financial insight to drive decision-making.  

The position will be a senior member of the Finance team, reporting to the CFO and with the overall responsibility for the following:
 

  • budget – coordination of the annual budget process, including ensuring that the budget model and process is fit for purpose. Preparation of budget presentation and analysis for management and board
  • forecasting – preparing updated forecasts on a periodic and/or rolling basis – both in terms of P&L, as well as cash forecasts
  • business case modelling – input to build or buy discussions, assisting the M&A team on acquisition scenarios; restructuring scenarios, etc.
  • business controlling – data driven analysis of performance, establishment (where necessary) and follow-up of key performance indicators – challenging functional leads and management and recommending mitigating action where necessary
  • financial analysis – internal and external 
  • synergy reporting – follow up of key activities to drive value in the consolidated business, follow-up of synergy realization of acquisitions


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Economics or equivalent 
  • 5-10 years relevant experience from FP&A/business controlling/performance management, preferably combined with consulting or audit/TAS experience 
  • experience from international business is an advantage
  • excellent financial understanding
  • interest and knowledge of IT systems and business intelligence tools
  • advanced Excel and PowerPoint user
  • excellent verbal and written communicator both in English and a Scandinavian language
