HydrogenPro has an ambitious global growth strategy and is seeking a proactive person to strengthen their team as a Business Controller with a focus on projects. As Business Controller you will be working with a wide range of tasks, and you will have the overall responsibility for overseeing the financial aspects of our projects from initiation to completion. You will play an important part in ensuring a profitable scale up of the company. For the right candidate there will be room to grow both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is eager to roll up their sleeves and contribute wherever needed. The role will work closely with and report to the Head of Treasury and Financial Planning.

Areas of responsibility

• provide support and be an active contributor for the project managers throughout the project life cycle to ensure high quality project management
• assist the commercial team with financial input in tender processes
• develop, coordinate and prepare monthly project reports, cost estimates and cash flow forecasts
• present project reports to internal stakeholders with clear and insightful financial analyses
• keep a firm grip on costs, ensuring accurate tracking and control
• invoicing of projects and ensuring payments are received in a timely manner
• drive and seek optimization of project revenues, profitability and cash flow
• evaluation of risk, opportunities and financial impact within projects
• assist with dynamic forecasting process at group level.
• support ad hoc financial analysis and preparation for executive level presentations.

 
Qualifications

• degree in finance, accounting, engineering or similar
• preferably, a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• experience with project/cost controlling is an advantage
• strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Power BI is an advantage
• experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• fluent English necessary. Scandinavian language skills are helpful, but not a requirement.
