Swiss Life Asset Managers Nordic AS is looking for a skilled and committed Compliance & Risk Officer, who in a team of three compliance & risk officers will handle ongoing compliance and legal issues, help ensure compliance with applicable regulations, contribute to improve and develop business and operational processes, the group’s ESG profile and contribute to the group’s risk management.
We are looking for a candidate with either legal or financial background.
The Compliance & Risk function in Swiss Life Asset Managers Nordic reports to the Board of Directors and management of the Nordic units, and has functional reporting lines to the head office in Zurich. The group has units with investment firm and AIFM licenses in Norway, and an entity which is an authorized accounting firm.
Tasks:
- Advice of and handling financial regulatory compliance issues, including anti-money laundering, privacy regulation, ESG issues, and legal issues as company law, contract law, HT-relates topics.
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with regulations, including assessing whether guidelines, procedures and measures are sufficiently effective.
- Monitor outsourcing of services, framework agreements for service purchases, etc.
- Participate in work on the establishment of new funds and projects
- Contact and coordination with the Financial Supervisory Authority, external legal assistance, etc.
- Contribute to updating the Group's and companies' directive systems, including training.
- Participate and contribute to Swiss Life Asset Managers' international network.
- Keep professionally updated through participation in professional forums and external courses.

Desired qualifications:
- University degree on a Master’s level within finance, economics or law
- 2-5 years of experience from relevant roles, preferably within the finance industry
- Industry experience in finance is an advantage, especially from securities- and or fund management
- Professional expertise and interest in one or more areas such as compliance, securities law, company law, ESG, AML, GDPR and risk management
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English. Proficiency in German and/or French will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
