We are now looking for a professional and dedicated Tax Advisor to join and strengthen our tax team. You will work closely with Head of Tax in Oslo, as well as coordinating and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that tax compliance obligations are met. Our office is located at Skøyen.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Quarterly and year-end reporting tax packs and associated deliverables
- Preparation of Norwegian tax computations and returns, and liaising with overseas external advisers to ensure international tax compliance obligations are met
- Assist with replying to tax enquiries and tax audits
- Tax disclosures for statutory accounting purposes
- Provide support on transfer pricing and VAT obligations
- Assessment of compliance obligations and potential tax risks, including implementation of appropriate responses and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide support on specific projects, including financing, cash repatriation, acquisitions and disposals
Desired qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting/finance or law
- Ideally 2-4 years of relevant experience from audit, tax, accounting, consulting or similar
- General tax understanding including corporate tax, indirect and personnel taxes
- Knowledge and/or interest in the shipping industry and European tonnage tax is beneficial
- Fluent in Norwegian and English

- A self-starter, able to work autonomously, take ownership of projects and drive these to completion
- Clear and effective communication with high professional standards
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple jurisdictions and a range of cultures
