We are opening the opportunity for a qualified and proactive Finance Director

A requirement is a strong ability to bridge our business processes with a mindset of continuous evolvement of our financial business support to allow optimal business success.

Our expectations:

• Strong skills enabling an overall responsibility of our financial control at Canon Norway AS including compliance and other regulatory reporting
• Overall understanding and experience of collaboration, reporting and alignment between all business units at Canon Norway AS and Canon Europe Ltd
• Strong business acument and the ability to refine financial analysis to business opportunities and practical solutions
• Business and financial strategic capabilities in combination with financial operational activities
• Optimisation drive and courage to create change with the aim to optimise business opportunities and efficiency
• Knowledge and experience of IFRS og US GAAP accounting standards
• Continous evolution of the financial team to enable them to perform at its best on all areas, and provide proactive partnership on all existing and future business needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
• It is a pre-requisit with strong english and norwegian language, both written and oral. Norwegian is the daily business language at Canon Norway AS

As an active part of Canon Norway management team, the role is expected to support and fulfill a strategic partnership with our management group, and continuously challenge our business development from a financial expertise perpective.

The role reports to our Executive Vice President Finance, Canon Euorpe Ltd. and is part of the highly dedicated and experienced Financial team of Canon Europe and representing this group at Canon Norway AS.
