TOMRA Collection (῀6 billion NOK revenues) is a growing global company helping to reduce plastic littering and carbon emissions. Every year we make sure that over 45 billion bottles and cans are kept in a clean loop so they can be recycled over and over again.

With an increasing number of countries in the process of implementing Deposit Return Systems, we aim to double our business in the next 5 years. Only in 2022 we opened six new subsidiaries and there are more to come. We need speed and accuracy in our financial reporting, the highest level of quality in our accounting practice, and consistent standards and policies across our subsidiaries. We are now looking for an Accounting Manager to cover a wide range of topics including accounting, reporting, internal control, but also tax and cash management.



On behalf of TOMRA Collection, we are now looking for an experienced Head of Accounting and Financial Reporting. As TOMRA Collections new Head of Accounting and Financial Reporting you will report to SVP Head of Finance TOMRA Collection. You will own the financial reporting process, ensure implementation of IFRS and relevant policies and guidelines, support year-end close, and provide accounting expertise across TOMRA Collection.

You will have a broad role where you will manage consolidated accounts and work internationally with accounting teams in our subsidiaries. You will be located in HQ, collaborate with subject experts at group level and work cross functionally with matters of internal control, tax, and treasury.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and accounting policies in TOMRA Collection;
  • Oversee financial reporting from TOMRA Collection subsidiaries and be responsible for preparing consolidated financial figures at the highest level of quality;
  • Collaborate with Group Accounting on complex accounting and financial reporting matters and support local accounting teams with expert advice
  • Liaise with Group Tax and Treasury on relevant matters (e.g. transfer pricing, liquidity management)
  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of financial reporting, control, and governance processes
  • Support the onboarding of finance teams in new subsidiaries on accounting and financial reporting matters

Qualifications:

  • Master`s degree within Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferable from international business and stock listed companies
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, and a good understanding of business processes and different concepts within local and tax GAAPs
  • Used to changing environments and to quickly meet new challenges
