Senior Vice President Capital Markets and Investor Relations
 

Shaping Telenor’s capital markets story and securing best-practice capital market communication!  

The role is a member of the Group Finance management team and reports to Group CFO. Group Finance is responsible for Telenor’s finance functions, with responsibilities within Financial Reporting and Control, Sustainability Reporting, Enterprise Risk Management, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, M&A, Spectrum & Analytical Decision Support, and Ownership.

As our SVP Capital Markets and Investor Relations you will be responsible for shaping Telenor’s capital markets story, managing the company’s investor outreach, and safeguarding of our transparent and compliant behaviour in the capital markets. Telenor comprises Business Areas with individual priorities and value creation strategies, and the role requires in-depth understanding of capital markets and finance.
 

Together with the team, you will communicate with Oslo Stock Exchange and ensure that Telenor handles information according to regulation. As our SVP Capital Markets and Investor Relations, you will work closely with Group Management and the Board.
 

Some of the main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Telenor’s capital markets story and investment proposition together with Group Management.

• Manage capital market relationships and build strong relationships with Telenor’s investor base.

• Ensure adherence to the rules and regulations as set out by the continuing obligations of relevant laws and Oslo Stock Exchange.

• Establish relationships with other key stakeholders and company enablers such as authorities, advisors, lawyers and auditors.

• Protect Telenor’s integrity, brand, reputation and governance in the capital markets.

Experience and qualifications

We seek a professional with experience as senior financial and/or investor relationship team member within a listed organisation, and minimum 10 years’ experience within finance, telecom sector or other adjacent industries. You bring a strong understanding of the functioning of the capital markets, investor perspectives, corporate governance and have a track record of contributing to creating value for shareholders. You have strong communication skills and capabilities.

You hold a master’s degree, preferably within finance, economics, social science, IndEc or equivalent. You must be fluent in written and verbal English and have basic knowledge in written and verbal Norwegian.
