Research Analysts, Investment Banking

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) is a leading Northern European financial institution

New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Frankfurt.

We are currently looking for highly motivated Research Analysts within both equity- and
high yield credit markets to join our team in Oslo.  
As a High Yield Credit Research Analyst your responsibilities will include working with
industry-, company-, and financial analysis of Nordic and international corporate bond
issuers. The position will predominately focus on high yield issuers. You will write sector
reports and research notes in connection to primary bond issues and generate commercial
research ideas within the secondary markets. You will also be an active and independent
speaking partner for investors and corporate bond issuers. You will be part of a top-ranked
team with a commercial- and business driven mind set. The position will work closely with
our colleagues in DCM and Credit Sales/Trading. The position is placed in Oslo, but some
traveling has to be accounted for.
As an Equity Research Analyst your key tasks include working with industry-, company-,
and financial analysis of Norwegian listed companies, with the aim of producing commercial
research ideas that builds our top-ranked market position. You will work together with
experienced equity researchers and put on a fast track to develop your own equity research
franchise, unless already established.
Who we are looking for
You ideally have 2-5 years of relevant experience within the following areas:
- Capital markets / Investment Banking
- Capital management
- Industry
- Consulting
- Auditing

Experience with financial modelling, including valuation will be considered a benefit. Further
on, we search for candidates with high work ethics, good communication skills, commercial
drive, and personal integrity.
We expect that you are comfortable working independently, have an attention to detail and
that you are a team player with strong sense of responsibility.
 
Proficiency in both Norwegian and English is a prerequisite.
