Senior Associate - Shipping Finance

Crédit Agricole's shipping team in Oslo, consisting of 6 people, is now looking for a Senior Associate - Shipping Finance!
 

The main task will be to work closely with the department head and the relationship managers on the follow-up and management of a portfolio of existing clients and prospects of Nordic ship-owners.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparing marketing presentation and pitches and participating in meeting with clients.
  • Participating in the structuring of new transactions, including the preparation of cash flow models.
  • Preparing credit packages for presentation to credit committee.
  • Participate in the documentation process of the loan transactions in coordination with the Oslo Ship Finance Team and maritime lawyers until successful closing.
  • Agency work in relation to the existing portfolio of transactions, including covenant monitoring, reporting to syndicates.
  • Compliance follow-up & monitoring (KYC, Kiwis) in relation to the existing and new transactions and clients.

 

Formal qualifications:

  • Education on a master’s degree level in either business administration, finance, engineering or equivalent with good results
  • Some years relevant working experience in banking/shipping/offshore
  • Good knowledge of the shipping/offshore industry
  • Good strategic business understanding and excellent financial modelling skills
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
